The apartment was really lovely, overlooking the water with a distant view out to the Forth. It was also really lovely to sit on the balcony or inside with the doors open. The apartment was in a great location with the beach only a few minutes walk through the park, and the bus into Edinburgh at the end of the apartment block. The selection of Scottish treats we were left an added bonus, as were all the little things around the flat, like phone chargers, toothbrush chargers, & food items in the kitchen. that made it feel homely rather than just a holiday home. It felt like a lot of thought had gone into the apartment. The bath was fantastic too! We had a very relaxing time and would definitely stay again. There was also a bar 'The Pitt' that holds a music, food and artist's fair, within walking distance, that we liked a lot. You can also get coffee and cake there and sit at the side of the river.

We did not like our car breaking down part way to Edinburgh. However, Raul could not have gone further to ensure we got into the apartment at 5.30AM!!! We were due to arrive at about 7pm the previous day, and Raul stayed in contact all that time - frankly he also kept me sane throughout all that stress! Raul stayed at the apartment until the recovery truck had dropped us off, and then he helped us with our luggage (we had a lot of luggage!) before going home to get some sleep himself. When we were due to leave and did not know what time we would be picked up, both hosts were happy for us to stay a little longer while the recovery truck arrived. They honestly could not have done more for us under the circumstances! The only tiny improvements I would make would be to have a sofa bed in the lounge but the reclining sofa was comfortable enough for my friend to sleep on while I took the bedroom, and although I did feel like the bed in there rather ate me because it has 2 separate single mattresses rather than a double I did sleep ok on it. However, this would definitely not stop us from staying there again.

Volvimos a pasar el fin de semana final a nuestra ruta por Escocia. Simplemente genial tanto por la atención de sus anfitriones, por la limpieza de su apartamento y todas sus comodidades.

Todo perfecto!!! Incluso las almohadas !!!

Super . Todo súper limpio, acogedor, con todas la comodidades. Sus anfitriones Raúl y Lorna súper majos y atentos a nuestras necesidades. Muy buenas vistas. La parada de bus al lado y en 30 min estás en el centro .De hecho repetimos en unos días al volver a Edimburgo

Por poner alguna cosa la almohada un poquito delgada para nuestro gusto pero sin importancia
