Oceana Trinco

We stayed at Oceana Trinco with our parents and our little child and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. The hotel is very new, beautifully maintained and stylishly designed. Everything feels clean, modern and well cared for. One of the highlights is the direct access to the sea. The beach in front of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with clear water and a tropical, almost Caribbean feeling. We were also able to book several activities directly through the hotel, including whale and dolphin watching, snorkeling and jet skiing. Everything was professionally organized and we were completely satisfied with every experience. The food at the hotel was excellent as well. They have their own chef who was very attentive to all our wishes. For breakfast, we could choose between Sri Lankan and English options, and everything was freshly prepared. The à la carte dinner was also absolutely delicious. The chef was very flexible and happily accommodated all of our requests, including preparing suitable food for our child. What we also really appreciated was that tea and fresh juices could be ordered at any time. Whether it was a fresh juice during the day, tea in between, ice cream or something small to eat, the team always tried to make everything possible for us. The staff and the owners were incredibly friendly, helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. Overall, we can highly recommend Oceana Trinco, especially for families looking for a beautiful, relaxing and well organized stay directly by the beach in Trincomalee. We felt completely at home here and will definitely stay at Oceana Trinco every time we return to Trincomalee!

Det hele var virkelig lækkert. God morgenmad, god service, trygt, hyggeligt, flot udsigt til vandet og lækre værelser.

Det lå et stykke fra restauranter, men det tog kun 7-10 min med tuktuk.

Schöne saubere Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal. Lage direkt am Strand

Zimmer werden nicht sauber gemacht bzw Handtücher gewechselt, passiert nur auf Nachfrage. Wir waren 5 Nächte da und einmal auf Nachfrage sauber gemacht. Frühstück ist English Breakfast der Standard. Man muss Nachfragen ob man auch etwas anderes bekommt. Es gibt kein Menü. Liegen am Strand wären auch wünschenswert. Es ist ein neues Hotel und ich verstehe dass alles noch nicht reibungslos funktionieren kann, aber dann kann man die Zimmer nicht für so einen Preis anbieten. Es kann natürlich sein dass ich einen zu hohen Standart erwarte wenn ich eine eine für Sri Lanka sehr hohen Preis für ein Hotel bezahle. Dann ist das mein Problem. Und der hohe Preis ist auch nicht mit einem sauberen Zimmer und warmer dusche zu rechtfertigen. Das ist keine Kritik am Personal, es war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Aber es ist ein Kritik an einem Service der automatisch funktionieren sollte und ich wegen jedem bisschen nachfragen muss bzw an einem Frühstück ohne viel Option für ein Hotel im gehobeneren Preissegment.
