Blooming Rose Ella

The view was everything! Not only did you wake up to the beautiful views of the waterfall and Ella Rock, we were served a beautiful breakfast each morning. The room was a good size, with seating on the balcony to soak up the view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was brand new - very clean. Anything we needed during our stay was met by the owner including tuk tuk service to town and taxi service to our next destination.

A lovely welcome from the host, unusual in that our car was met by tuk tuk to take us down a narrow road. You then walk down a number of steps before coming out on to a big veranda with magnificent views across the Ella valley and away to the south west of Sri Lanka. We were shown t a beautiful clean and comfortable room that also had similar views. We stayed two nights and each morning enjoyed a delicious breakfast again in that wonderful veranda with its views and surrounded by birds and chipmunks. It is about a 15 minute walk into town via the railway line where like us you may see porcupine and fireflies at night. The town of Ella has a great range of restaurants, cafes and shops.

The view was amazing & staff are super friendly, they even drove us to dinner one night in their own tuk tuk so helpful. Facilities we clean & tidy the breakfast was amazing honestly we didn’t want for anything everything was great Make sure you go to the roof top for uninterrupted views!!

The rooms are all together by each others side. I have attached photos, it was ok but if you like your privacy it may not be to your taste

We came on our honeymoon trip to sri lanka- Blooming rose was one if not the best place we stayed all trip! The owner was amazing, helped us with everything. The room was beautiful, the view was incredible.
