October in New Orleans brings a welcome shift - the heavy summer air gives way to something cooler and more manageable, the festival calendar fills back up, and the Bywater finds its stride. This 1,240 sq ft condo puts you at the center of it: well set up inside, and sitting in one of the city's most walkable and characterful neighborhoods just outside your door.

Living space
Natural light moves through the open layout from morning to evening, setting an easy pace whether you're easing into the day or recovering from a long night on Frenchmen Street. Air conditioning and heating keep conditions comfortable regardless of the season, and an in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack light and stay as long as the city holds your attention.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms give the group a proper retreat at the end of each day. The primary bedroom is set up with a king bed, while the second offers a full-sized bed - together sleeping up to four guests in clean, well-dressed linens. With 2.5 bathrooms between you, there's no jostling for mirror space when the whole group is getting ready to head out.

Kitchen & dining
A fully equipped kitchen is stocked and ready for everything from a strong coffee before a morning walk to a proper meal cooked at your own pace. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, hot water kettle, baking sheet, and cooking basics - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper. Plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery are all provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table, or bring something back from the neighborhood and eat without a rush.

Bathrooms & essentials
Each bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. Fresh towels, bed linens, hangers, and an iron are all available, along with safety features including a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit.

Location
The Bywater sits just past the Marigny - deep enough into the neighborhood that the streets outside are lined with bars, cafes, and restaurants worth returning to, but still close enough to the action that the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, and Bourbon Street are a short Uber ride away. Free street parking is available directly in front of the building, and elevator access means arriving with luggage is never a chore.
