This bright, two-bedroom guest suite sits on a quiet, leafy street in Arbutus Ridge, one of Vancouver's calm west-side neighbourhoods. It has its own private entrance at the back of the house and radiant heated floors that keep it cozy all year.
Inside, the open living room has deep leather sofas and a big TV, with a round glass dining table for four close by. The queen bedroom and the double bedroom are both freshly made up with crisp white linens, and there are two desks with chairs, so getting a little work done is easy. The kitchenette covers your coffee and light meals with a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, and cutlery. The full bathroom comes stocked with shampoo, shower gel, a hair dryer, and fresh towels.
The location is the best of both worlds. Safeway, Starbucks, and bus stops on West King Edward Avenue are about a 5-minute walk, the Arbutus Greenway is close by for a walk or bike ride, and downtown Vancouver, UBC, and BC Place are each about a 20-minute drive. Free street parking is right out front.
Families are welcome, and the layout suits a couple of friends, a small family, or visitors to UBC looking for a peaceful, private home base. We'd be glad to host you.
