The property is ideal for anyone travelling through Kamakura for one or two nights. It's great value. The room has everything you need, albeit small. Location is central so easy to walk around. There's a bar downstairs which creates a nice vibe but it's rarely busy or loud.
The room is very small, and the bunk beds are not big enough for anyone over 6ft to sleep in. I am 5ft 11" and I had to sleep diagonally in the bed just to fit in. The room has lots of stuff packed into it so you can't really do much other than sleep in there.

Comfortable, peaceful sleep. Great Air con! Really nice, upbeat staff and well-equipped kitchen / living room. I had a great time here. Enjoyed the peaceful location on the backstreet
Hot time of year, but cool inside, nice restaurant / bar. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect, but Hase is not that big so everything feels very close.
Even though the room is described as with private bathroom, it only has a small sink and a shower, while the toilet is actually shared! I think this should be made clearer in the room description on booking. We wouldn't have booked this room for 24,000 yen had we realised it had shared toilet. Luckily, we were only staying for one night.
