Hotel Universel

Hotel Universel is our go-to in Québec City. There are excellent restaurants and a bakery within walking distance on the Avenue Myrand. We can leave our car in the parking lot and take the 807 bus to tourist spots like the Old City or the Plaines d'Abraham without having to worry about the hassle of parking. Also, from there it's easy to get out of the city to visit spots like the Ile d'Orléans or the Parc National de la Jacques Cartier. L'Hôtel Universel est une valeur sure.

It would be wonderful if some of the equipment in the exercise room was repaired or replaced.

Fantastic Stay in Quebec City! We had an amazing experience here and highly recommend it. Here is what we loved most: Outstanding Staff: Extremely helpful, efficient, courteous, and supportive. Great Rooms: Very neat, tidy, and clean. Perfect Location: Super close to bus stands for effortless travel into Old Quebec. Wonderful Perks: They provided us with the 3-day free tourist bus passes, which was an incredible bonus.

Excellent location with lots of restaurants around.

It is so loud in that hotel. My room was on the second floor which was attached to the pool. So between the people constantly walking through or the birds chirping, not a very restful stay. The second night there was a wedding party downstairs that was disrespectfully loud, the music was making the walls shake and the bed vibrate. I understand the hotels desire to make a profit, but if the pool closes at 10 so should the rest of the noise in the hotel??? I complained to the girl at the desk who was incredibly helpful and got me a new room, but I did not catch her name.
