Austria Haus Hotel

Staff was helpful. Breakfast was beyond our expectations with many wonderful selections. Hot tub was clean and temperature was perfect.

I had some difficulty figuring out how to get to the hotel as there are many "Do Not Enter" signs around the streets leading to it. When I mentioned this the manager he discounted our parking. Breakfast was still being served when we arrived and he invited us to partake. This Continental breakfast was very good with many hot/cold items to choose from. However the next day's breakfast was even better with smoked salmon as one of the offerings. The room was more spacious than most we've seen for the same or more money and had individual climate controls. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was also roomy and well appointed with personal amenities. All the staff was very pleasanrt, polite, and helpful. Upon leaving we discovered that we had forgotten a cell phone in the room. Housekeeping had already brought it to the front desk and they arranged its return by mail when we called.

I can't really come up with much of anything that needs to be changed. For Vail it is, hands down, the best place we have stayed at and is easily worth what we paid when compared to the many other hotels we have tried over the years.

Excellent breakfast and facilities. Nice balcony.

Road noise if the balcony door was open from highway on our side of the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property, especially the pool and balcony. Breakfast being included was an added convenience. Our car was ready for us upon our departure. Staff took time to have sincere conversations with us.

The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough. We did open the sliding door for the night.
