It was the perfect location for us. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and we were able to walk to the music venue we were there for.
I I think some people will feel that it needs updating, but we actually liked the old feel. It was Charming

This was a wonderful place to stay at for the weekend during an event in the city! I loved the room, it was cozy, and perfect! We faced the street and the noise of the city night life put us to sleep right away!
Wifi was spotty but not enough to where it was annoying me. If I were to be on a business trip and needed wifi, then I would go to a nearby coffee shop or a public library for that.

This place is one of a kind. Ive never stayed anywhere even remotely like it. It has atmosphere, it has a vibe, it has a one of a kind feel to it unlike anything you can find anywhere else. It had character and was very very cool.
We really would have liked to enjoy the pool on the roof but it was being renovated. I wish we had known prior to arriving so we didnt get our grandson excited to "swim on the roof". However this was of minor importance in the big picture. Great staff, awesome stay.

It’s a historic hotel, I get that. But the air conditioning was not great and it was hot. The walls are super thin and you could hear neighbors, as well as doors slamming in the hallway
