Good location, lovely walk into very pretty Steveston for excellent evening meal along an old dyke. Bed was comfortable, room very quiet, host very thorough with check in.
Okay, so this might be a slightly introverted British thing but I found the host a little overbearing. He is very particular about his house eg shoes off, where exactly to park etc, which is fine. However, at breakfast I felt a bit 'watched' and slightly pressured into having an Asian breakfast I didn't want. When I made a move towards the cereals, he said I could look but not try which was probably a joke but I felt a little uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfasts were exceptional — fresh, delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our visit. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, and the location was very convenient for exploring Richmond and the surrounding area. We would happily stay here again!
The only small inconvenience was that cigarette smoke would occasionally come through the open windows. Perhaps relocating or adjusting the designated smoking area could help prevent this. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The house was very spacious. There were a lot of snacks so you would not go hungry. The breakfast was delicious. William was a great host.
Everything was amazing.
