The Houtel is very nice and clean

nothing everything was excellent

Location ands peacefulness

No microseconds l microwave in room

The room was good sized (more than we really needed). Bed was comfy, shower had good water pressure. The breakfast had omelets and Canadian bacon. Convenient location off of The Northway

Check-in: I had pre-paid on a booking site, but they still took my card not just for incidentals with assurances “one charge would drop off”. The carpets in the hall were very worn and puckering or threadbare. Our room, in the bathroom there were two towels hanging from the back of the door. Presumably missed by the cleaning staff. This makes you wonder what else was missed. The room was one that could connect to the room next door. The room next door was occupied by a family with younger children. The transference of sound was high. I hadn’t asked for a connected room and the hotel was far from full. If we were staying longer than overnight I would have asked for another room. Staff was ok. The guy who fumbled my check in was pleasant. The housekeeping staff were gossiping about staffing shortages in the hall by the elevators.

The free breakfast was nice, but the food was kind of cheap - just ok. Would recommend more food and beverage options. The staff was excellent - kind and professional.

The elevators were a disaster - one completely out of order, the other felt like riding a death trap - did not feel safe or well maintained at all.
