The charm
The food wasn’t good for the price and the water had an odd taste.

The historic building, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub. They had great coffee.
The restaurant menu could have been better especially the dinner menu and room service menu. Some newer lighter options would be great!

A wonderful experience. Stay was too short. In my opinion, stay at least 2 nights. The pool has such a wonderful vacation vibe. Clean and beautifully groomed gardens. The Grotto Experience and Spa was the highlight. The rooms are quiet, spacious with comfortable beds. Dinner at The Elms restaurant, the Three Owls was delicious. If you don't want a formal dinner, the Tavern in the hotel is another option. There is also a coffee shop in the hotel. So no need to leave. The staff are all professional and friendly. The town has several gems to explore. The Mercantile has fun gifts, great coffee. And then there is a good Italian Restaurant.
No complaints here! All good.
