The Free Airport Shuttle to the Hotel, the Free Airport Shuttle to the Cruise Port, the breakfast is okay.

Our experience with this hotel was a mixture of good and disappointing. We had booked two rooms, and unfortunately, one of them had apparently just had the carpet cleaned and still had a fan running in an attempt to dry it. Despite the cleaning, the room had a very unpleasant odor that smelled as though someone had vomited in it. I went to the front desk and explained that the room was simply not acceptable. To their credit, they were very accommodating and provided us with another room, upgrading us to a suite at no additional charge. We certainly appreciated how they handled that situation. My biggest disappointment, however, was the hotel's paid shuttle service, particularly the transportation from the cruise port to the airport. While I think this is a great service to offer, it seems they may have outgrown their ability to manage it efficiently. The gentleman who coordinates the shuttle service when departing the hotel for the cruise port was very blunt and came across as rude. While the transportation itself was convenient, his attitude certainly wasn't the most welcoming way to start a vacation. The return transportation was where things really fell apart. We were provided with a phone number to call once we returned from our cruise, but unfortunately, I was unable to get through to anyone. The hotel also sent a text message the day before our cruise ended asking us to reply with the time we would like to board the shuttle. The problem with that approach is that many cruise passengers, including us, don't have internet or cell service while at sea. We didn't even receive the message until we returned to port on debarkation day, making the request practically useless. Once off the ship, we, along with approximately 30 other people, waited an hour and a half for the shuttle to arrive. When it finally did, the van could only accommodate around 14 passengers.
