This lodge is gorgeous and worth the money to stay there. The lobby had many well appointed seating areas, filled with leather furniture, wildlife art and lighting. Staff were very friendly and managers stopped to chat with us. The grounds and pool were well done and easily accessible. Lower level had complete entertainment and workout areas including a movie theater and game room. I would stay here again!
The maid did not clean our room very well. Found stuffed toy, diaper and game pieces on the floor. Bathroom was missing wash cloths, floors could have been cleaner, couches and throw pillows needed cleaning.

Pillows were terrible . Requested pillows twice . Flat and caused neck pain . Difficult to sleep

Spacious rooms, overall decor
Location requires use of hotel provided shuttle service to get to the lake beach, and the shuttle service was inadequate. Van was dirty and steps / sill broken. Moreover, wait times were at times long - sometimes needed to wait for a couple of round trips bc van’s capacity was less than the accumulated group waiting for ride. Hotel is understaffed, particularly given the lofty rates they are charging.
