Anchorage by the Sea

I had booked this hotel because it was right on the ocean with beautiful ocean views.

I had booked this hotel because it was right on the ocean with ocean views, instead we were put in a building across the street with no views but paid view prices. It was incredibly inconvenient to have to walked a ways to the main hotel to sit Oceanside which we had wanted.

Right off the bat - location, location, location. Stunning view of Ogunquit Beach, saw amazing sunrises every morning. Marginal Way is right there - a mile long walk of more breathtaking views takes you to Perkins Cove. Shore Road is a short jaunt packed with fabulous restaurants and adorable shops. We had a couple meals at Anchorage and they were great! Staff is lovely and kind, helpful. One tip I'd give is next time I'll book early enough to not be across the street in the Towers. Rooms were perfectly fine but I wanna be where the action is

The Towers had a slight smell - not sure what but a cheap smell was masking something..? Not sure but it was only in the hallways! Not the rooms. Showers were fantastic by the way.

Right on the Marginal way. Easy walking to everything

Our room was across the street but it was a very large room with a fireplace

Location and setting was excellent

Being located in Towers (though we knew that) and for the price in peak summer it felt expensive
