Comfort Suites Fort Collins Near University

Breakfast is the same each morning - eggs, meat, bread items/waffle maker and cereals/yogurt. Good coffee. Beautiful tree-d parklike setting with well lighted parking areas. Our room was quiet and very clean. The windows open, which is wonderful. The tv is set up to be directly in front of the bed, instead of the small couch, which is a bit odd. We had a fridge/freezer and microwave, plus a safe. Bathroom has a fan, heat lamp and nice long counter with storage. Another odd thing is that except for a small hook on the back of the door, there is absolutely no other place to hang wet towels. There is plenty of room, so I didn't understand that at all. Not even a place to hang a handtowel. The pool/hot tub looked clean and nice, but we did not use them. There is a nice laundry area for customer use.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good (included scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles).

The mattresses were a bit squishy for my taste.

Front desk staff was great. Went above and beyond to help. Rooms are fairly large.

The hotel is an older building and could use a refresh. It is not close to the University or downtown Fort Collins. There is daily housekeeping but they don't make the beds. At around $150 per night when I stayed, it was overpriced.
