Pacific Monarch Hotel

ChristieAnne on reception when we arrived was so friendly and helpful. We arrived at 6.30am not expecting to be able to check in until 3pm but she told us to come back at 9am and she'd get us into our room then, which was amazing after travelling for 24 hours to arrive. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We chose a partial sea view room which looks towards the mountains in one direction and towards the ocean directly between the 2 towers of the Hyatt. It's was a beautiful view. We felt that this hotel was amazing value for the location and comfort. We'd defintiely stay again on returning to Waikiki.

There was no shade at the pool area so it felt barren and hot and we didn't use it for that reason.

Great location. Good value for money. Comfortable and clean.

Nothing

It had a balcony with an ocean view, dining table and chairs, kitchen facilities and two blocks from the beach.

Air conditioning was inadequate/too small for the room and it was only in the main part and not the bedroom. Wouldn’t want to stay here in the height of summer. There was a ceiling fan and freestanding fan for air flow but we got better circulation with having the sliding doors to the balcony open.
