Pilgrim Sands on Long Beach

Great location, and good base to see the cape, and other places. Big spacious room, with 2 very comfortable queen beds. Large shower with plenty of towels, and face cloths. On the sea front, with some lovely views, and Seal watching. Lots of parking available.

The shower takes a long time for the hot water to come through. The floor felt like it constantly had sand on it. Room cleaning should be at least every other day, not every 3 days. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. We had to ask for the trash can to be emptied, and ask for a toilet roll.

Close to town, nice recently updated rooms, and good breakfast options.

No complaints.

The view is spectacular, you can hear the waves on the shore as you fall asleep.

Kind of a strange, desolate experience. Cameras absolutely everywhere, blackout curtains on the bathroom windows, satellite tv looked like it was being beamed in from another continent. Really small touches could have really leveled up the experience — a shelf in the shower for anything, a hook to hang a towel on in the bathroom, a couple bottles of water in the room, even for a fee! Just kind of felt like someone bought it, but in new showers and floors and walked away.

The view was spectacular from the patio. That's it.

The pictures showed that we paid for a private room with our own patio that overlooked the ocean. Instead we got a room on the main floor that walked directly on to the patio. There were people continually in front of our room. The night lights outside wouldn't go out so the bugs invaded every night. The room was a basic motel room, no sofa, no closet, no hangars. A few hooks on the wall. We were very disappointed.
