The Bay Inn at the Lani Kai

I live in Estero, my sister was visiting from California so I booked a night and we enjoyed walking the beach snd dinner roof top an Lani .

The easy beach access it has a seven eleven less than 5 min walking plenty of dinning options

We did not have breakfast. We did not realize we were booking at a low rent resort. It felt like driving up to a bar, we could hear music, we walked through red lights and rode the elevators to check in. It was a party atmosphere. We were given wrist bands to check into our room. Thankfully our actual room was about a block away from the “party bar scene” in an older building. It was quiet but I feel that was due to low season, less people around.

Felt like a bait and switch. My companion was not from the USA and felt very nervous with the whole situation. There were not extra locks on our ground floor room. There was signage with detailed messages explaining the fees for every item in the room, explaining if broken how much you’ll pay. This really sent the message home that people come here to drink and get rowdy. We checked for bedbugs, none seen and tried to sleep.
