Distrikt Hotel New York City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The room was clean and very comfortable. Check-in was easy and although the neighborhood is very dirty, access to metro and attractions was good.

Would never stay in Hells Kitchen again but this is not a reflection on the property but on the city. The neighborhood was falling apart and disgusting. Regarding the hotel, there was this $29 mandatory fee that we could use for credit but one th first day each person explained it differently and we didn't figure out how it worked until our last day. so basically we wasted two $29 fees because it wasn't explained properly. Also, Noise control from the street was great because we were on a high floor but every time someone entered or left their room, their door would slam and it would wake me up.

Very good location, the room is a bit small but there is enough space for two people and it was clean and comfortable. It also had a very nice view.

Booking.com rate was not applied to my reservation when I checked in so I had to ask for the clarification. The room has AC but it was not strong enough to cool the entire room.

Location. Value for dollars. Comfortable bed.

My room shower door could be opened passed certain point making it hard to get in and out.

The location was prime, but the street was rowdy and full of trash.

The heating didn’t work for two of my 5 night stay. When I reported this I was told many of the heaters were not working and we would have to wait our turn. The rooms were poorly lit and dated. There were two lifts, one of which was not working for my entire 5 night stay. The $29 credit could be used in the extremely overpriced and limited ground floor cafe.
