Easy check in face to face process, great room -amazing bed- and facilities (mini fridge in the room). Breakfast is included and it was superb! Lovely family-run guesthouse less than 5 mins from the beach and cafés. Very quiet area as well (non peak season). It's a 20 mins walk into town/center and the main Pier. About 25 mins walk from the train station. Beach alongside the area is completely dog friendly - the cafés I mentioned too!

The only thing I could mention is the slippery shower floor, when using shower gel or hair products it could get really slippery and there was nothing to hold on to. Other than that I can't say anything else!

I've not been to Dene House for some time, but was great to visit again and find the levels of service and comfort just as good as I remember. As always, a warm welcome on arrival. The room was probably the largest B&B room I have ever seen, with an amazingly large and comfortable bed. Attention to detail, as always, was spot on, down top fresh milk in the room fridge rather than UHT sachets, and a fantastic breakfast. A slight change in the breakfast since my last visit, and in my opinion, one for the better, was a rasher of back bacon and a rasher of streaky bacon. This was different to most B&B's and a welcome change. Overall I can't recommend Dene House enough. It was and still is my favourite place to stay in Great Yarmouth.
