It was great all...

Nothing.. all was very good

The check in process was seamless. The building I was in has room key entry only at all access points. The room was spacious with a ceiling fan over the seating area. I needed maintenance to come out first night, and the worker was prompt, courteous, and did his best to remediate the problem. Centrally located to Old Town, gas stations, restaurants, Walmart, and interstate. Pool area was as pictured. The opportunities I had to utilize the pool were thwarted by weather- was closed due to lightning in area -but this is not the fault of hotel. Servers at restaurant were pleasant and seating adequate. Had an issue both night with TV and was not charged resort fees at checkout to accommodate for inconvenience.

The room: Bathroom did not have exhaust fan so floor stayed wet, and mirror across from bathroom got fogged by steam. Mold has built up on ceiling and around the baseboards, presumably because a lack of ventilation for steam. The seating area has 2 chairs which were covered in stains. Most importantly, the TV did not work the entire time. Reported this issue to the front desk first night, which they promptly sent out a maintenance worker. The worker spent 30 minutes, attempting to connect the smart TV to the Internet, but was unsuccessful. Was told the establishment had switched to different Internet service two weeks prior and some rooms did not have Internet connectivity, even when hardwired with an ethernet cord. Was offered to switch rooms, but by this time it was nearly midnight. Reported this again in the morning and was told maintenance would be out to correct the situation, but was again unsuccessful. Upon checkout, I reported the inability to use the TV the entire trip, and was refunded the resort fees, which equated to roughly $75. The restaurant: The breakfast is buffet style with limited options. The beverages were limited to water, juice, coffee, and milk. Thankfully I had a voucher as cost was $17 per person and 1st day eggs were cold and all meats ( bacon & sausage links) were gone and not replenished during the 15 mins I was there. 2nd day was a little better but fruit was picked over and only 2 servers for a room full of people - took a hot minute to get drinks.

Clean, parking on site, exceptional value for money.

Staff were quite miserable, weren’t overly helpful. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Pool attendants were not very attentive however not an issue if you’re actually watching your kids ;) Wouldn’t purchase any tickets off the vendor in the lobby of the hotel. We bought Disney tix from them and got to the gate to be told they were invalid so had to re purchase - although we did end up getting refunded, it’s was a hassle we could’ve done without on our holiday.

The beds were comfortable and the tv selection was awesome. The pool and lazy river make it worth it but that’s about all I can say about the place.

There is a list! I can not believe that this place charges $14 for a box of tampons in their little store and $25 for 2 waters and 2 pops! This is price gouging to the extreme! Breakfast was an absolute JOKE! $15 for nothing! Just no I walked in and out! It’s not worth it! It’s dirty and smells bad inside the hallways. My room didn’t even shut all the way we had to wrestle the door! No coffee pot in the room. They need to change that nasty carpet! Plenty of money to not fix it up!
