Location, parking inside hotel, staff.

Breakfast not very good Rooms old.

Very friendly & helpful staff. We left some valuable in the room while rushing to catch our onward journey train. Staff were kind to post those valuable to our home address.

Location. We parked the car and did not need to move it until we left for our next destination. Short walk to the ferry, took us to Gandria. Short walk into Paradiso and to the San Salvatore funicular. Americans will feel right at home with breakfast here. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, plus fruits and cereals. And also the cheeses and hams that Europeans have for breakfast.

Room was spacious, something expected for the money we paid. Breakfast was meeting the average level. Location is OK, just 7' walk from the Paradiso boat pier. The Bar was nice.

We paid for a lake view. However, our room was not facing the lake but a side road. We had to be at the balcony to have the view of the lake. Bathrooms were clean but renovation will be welcomed, at least at this price range. We parked our car at the Hotels front door parking place. Our car was damaged by another car whose driver just left without leaving any note. We immediately addressed to reception and requested them to check the security camera they had at the main entrance. They advised that the camera was not covering their parking space (just 3 meters away from the door) and that it was not their responsibility. We asked to talk to the Hotel Manager. They told us that she was not there. We asked to at least talk to her over the phone, they advised that it wasn't possible during the weekend. We asked for a certification from the Manager that the camera is not covering the parking area. They promised to send it "first thing Monday morning". Till now, Monday noon, we haven't received it. For a 4 Star Hotel that is unacceptable. During arrival and departure there was not valet service for the luggage.
