Queens Head

Really nice rooms situated behind a really nice pub. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Really good shower too. The pub is superb and highly recommend eating there (the curry sauce withe fish and chips was outstanding and we had an amazing apple crumble for desert). Staff really friendly.

A couple of things have meant I have not given a better score (which with adjustments could be fixed). 1 - we arrived in the afternoon after a long journey but could not get in the room because the pub was closed and there was no-one to let us in. Not a great welcome to be honest. Please ensure this is clear in the booking details 2 - the room was not serviced for the 3 days we were there meaning not change in bedding/towels etc. That was not an issue but what was an issue was the consumables (coffee, tea, milk, toilet rolls etc) where not replaced and we had to ask for them 3 - very minor improvement but a box of tissues would be nice in the room Was surprised that breakfast was not served in the pub (but you could order a continental style breakfast basket). This was not an issue for though because you can get a great breakfast in several places around Leyburn

Accommodation superb thank you. Comfortable and very quiet and very clean. Food and drink in Queens Head very good and staff were lovely.

It was good to be provided with a breakfast basket though it was adequate rather than exciting.

Beautiful location and very lovely

Clean comfortable and well appointed
