Great location for brenserlaf half marathon on Oct 11

I could not find the light in hallway of third floor. Not hot water kettle in room

The location was amazing! Just steps from the bus stop, and literally right across the street from the lake. It's easy to get to but also extremely peaceful and serene. We were in the lake facing rooms which all had spacious balconies and the view from the balcony overlooking the lake is one of the most beautiful settings in the entire world. The staff at this hotel was also the most friendly and helpful out of any of the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. The hotel also had a lot of nice touches which made it exceptional, for example each floor has a lounge/tea room that's stocked with a water boiler and cups/teabags/etc. They also have a great beer on tap right behind the front desk, I highly recommend it.

Fanastic area, great view if you have seaview. Very calm and cozy area just outside of Interlaken. Breakfast is very nice indeed. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My main point with a hotel is sleeping quality. The bed was not very comfortable, but what was most annoying was hearing some generator drone throughout the whole night, and also hearing the neighbors in next room using the bathroom as if I was in the same room. Hotel staff told me the house is old, and that is that. Bring earplugs and one should be fine.
