Hotel Brienzersee

Excellent Stay with Breathtaking Views! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Brienzersee. The views of Lake Brienz and the surrounding mountains were absolutely stunning. The hotel is in a fantastic location, peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently situated for exploring the Bernese Oberland region. The staff were exceptionally courteous, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection to start the day. The beautiful surroundings, tranquil atmosphere and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return!

The only downside was the lack of options for a late-evening meal or quick snack. Most restaurants and eateries in the village also close around 8:00 PM, making it difficult to find food if you return late from sightseeing.

This was my second stay in the Brienzersee Hotel and I brought 6 friends with me this time! The staff was super friendly and helpful from the time I made my original reservations, through check-in, and then throughout our entire stay. I can't speak highly enough of them. We had the smaller village view rooms which were very nice and quiet. Beds were super comfortable and bath towels were nice and large. Everything was sparkly clean. The breakfast buffet had everything one could ask for and the breakfast room was nice and airy with a beautiful view of Lake Brienz. Two of my friends enjoyed the small bites at the bar in the evening. I loved sitting on the terrace watching the sun set and the moon rise over the mountains. We used public transportation to arrive. Having been there before I'd discovered the walk to the hotel from the station was easier if you went up to the main street, turned left and walked two blocks then turned left again onto the main street leading to the hotel. For the rest of our stay our coming and going was through the nearby Post bus stop.

What's not to like about the Hotel Brienzersee?!

The staff at this hotel were fantastic and friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The position of the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The views over the lake from our balcony were stunning. It was close to public transport both buses, ferries and trains. So getting around without having a car was easy. The breakfast provided was plentiful and fresh.

Everything! Location, staff, some free coupons given by the hotel, the breakfast. Everything!
