Chalet-Hôtel Hermitage

The location was perfect for us: We had an easy walk from the train station to the property. We could walk into town in about ten minutes. The mountain views from our room were as promised. Yes - there was a construction project next to the hotel but since we were usually exploring the town during the day - the work noise was not an issue nor did it interfere with our primary view of the mountains. Staff was helpful and very professional. Great stay.

It would have been a bonus if they had guest laundry facilities- but staff did direct us to a suitable self-laundry option in town which served the purpose. Otherwise no negative issues and we would choose this property again.

The bathtub & washing sink are open to room without door in the room we selected. I think this is only in one type of rooms. I believe they have another types that don’t have this small observation

Loved the dinner offerings. Would be nice if they expanded the menu to include more salads and entrees.

Construction next door, very noisy in early am. . No free shuttle to center of town.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing, peaceful little garden, the perfect place to relax (if only I had had the time to enjoy it!). The rooms are very spacious, beautifully designed & clearly looked after with great attention to detail. Everything feels carefully thought through. The staff were incredibly kind & welcoming, especially the lovely lady in the restaurant & the receptionist, Marianna (I hope I got her name right!), who went above & beyond to recommend & book some wonderful restaurants for my dinners. A truly lovely place with excellent hospitality.

Check-in procedure. Literally it takes 30 min to go through it…. & i have thought digitalisation speed up the things …
