Excellent location in the heart of the village and a short walk from both the train station and Grindelwald First gondola. The room had a balcony and a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The staff was excellent.

We stayed in the Chalet Suite with Balcony and Mountain View for 3 nights and loved it! The room had recently been updated and was the perfect set up for our family of 4! The view is unbeatable and the location of the hotel was right in the center of town so we could walk to everything within 10 minutes. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub as well - a perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking!
Honestly, there wasn't really anything we didn't like about this hotel.

The staff and the location. Clean and tidy rooms. Great car parking
A very traditional hotel that needs modernity. Air conditioning and more up to date fixtures and fittings. The dining room is desperately in need of updating and improving the lighting. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in and we had basic rooms at nearly £500/night so it wasn’t great value.
