Grange Lodge

So 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5/10 minutes into the centre of York, this guest houst is in an ideal location. Situated on a quiet resedential street it's away from the hustle and bistle of the city center. Check in and out was seamless. I stayed in Room 8, lovely room, spotless, walk in shower no bath, air conditioned, fan, central heated, hair dtyer, tea and cooffee facilities, large flat screen TV. There seemed to be loads of parking available although I would check with the owners on this. All in all a great place to stay, I highly recommend.

Room 8 is at the top of the building, up several flights of stairs with around 50 steps to negotiate so you need to be fairly mobile.

Location was amazing. So close to York Montser , walking distance

Room at top of property and very hot. Heating coukd be turned off. Velux window blinds (2) could not be opened and windows dirty on outside so light obscured. Room was awkward to get to and 4 flights of stairs. No-one to meet you.
