Everything about this hotel was just outstanding was greeted by an amazing owner ,he carried our cases up to our rooms shown us best places to visit,this 2 night sleep was second to none beds were comfortable ,was so clean , and very quiet ,10.min walk to the centre of york so perfect location ,ive stayed in much more expensive hotels but this is at the top of my list ,me and my grandaughter stayed for her 18th had the best time ....he put banners and balloons in the room for her Thankyou so much

Room is good value for money in a good location only a 15 minute walk into to town. Room was very clean and a good size for a single room, the room also included a fan which was needed during these heatwave. Tea and coffee making facilities and a smart TV.

There was a creeky floorboard in the room, the tap pressure was very weak, the toilet seat was loose and the shower door didn't close completely. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anyone who is a light sleeper the blinds don't completely block out the light and the walls are very thin so you can hear people coming and going and when people have showers. I was very unlucky with my fellow guests who decided to keep the night going drinking and talking loudly in the shared kitchen until gone 1 AM
