Lake of Shadows Hotel

Quiet location, easy walking distance to the shoreline. Heritage building with outstanding restaurant very popular with the locals and for private events. Complimentary full Irish Breakfast. An extensive restaurant and bar menu (surprisingly with no lamb!) for Dinner (M-F) and Lunch on weekends. Food was excellent, especially the Sirloin Steak. Dessert menu included the Lake Temptation, not to miss! Staff throughout friendly, efficient and eager to please at all times.

Very comfortable and warm

Nothing

The location of the hotel was good, with a good size car park near by.

The service in the bar was very poor. I had to ask a member of staff to take our order. We were not asked if everything was ok during our meal. I felt I had to go looking for staff when I wanted something. The staff were young and some seemed not well trained.
