When I booked this hotel, I was making sure that personnel are speaking English. That is very important for me because I don't speak French (English is also not my first language). The problem at this hotel was that receptionist (her name is Vida - I hope I memorized her name correctly) played that she doesn't understand English when I was asking for the room key. This situation was extremely unfriendly and on this moment, I felt very unsafety. I have to say that this was only one case for our whole stay in Paris that someone didn't want to understand English. Mostly people in Paris are very friendly and welling to help even their English sometimes is not great :-) and only the one receptionist in the Palym Hotel was not like that and i would say her behavior was very unprofessional. I would say that the hotel should push more pressure for their staff to not behave that way if they want to have international guest.
