All was good

Nice hotel in a good location, walking distance to Padang Padang beach and restaurants very close. We also walked to the edge of Bingin to Mexicola which wasn’t too far. The welcome for our anniversary was a lovely touch. Pool deck area still being renovated but will be nice when it’s finished. Breakfast is at the attached restaurant next door and you pick from a set menu, simple but good.

Can be very loud at night with Mad Monkey next door and noise travels in the hotel when people are walking around. We used ear plugs which worked well though. Bed was a bit springy and room quite small but the larger rooms in the newer building might be better.

The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants and even so the hotel is silent. The swimming pool is beautiful! And the staff is friendly and helpful and make you feel home!

The musty smell bothered me a little, it's not very strong. After a while in the room, get used to it. But if you are very sensitive to humidity, the smell can be a negative factor

Great location, lovely staff and the rooms were very clean. Nice large pool. Breakfast was also pretty good. And a random quirk I liked - the sink was not in the wet room, so I didn't have to get my feet wet every time I needed to use the sink.

Unfortunately, there were building/construction works going on, which were not disclosed on booking. This made using the pool particularly unwelcoming. There was also noise quite early. Sun loungers were very far from the pool so I ended up going somewhere else to use the pool facilities. Unfortunately I decided to leave early and the hotel were very fair in refunding the last 2 nights. I think once the work is finished, it will be a nice little hotel, but unfortunate timing for my stay. It was also not a good price considering everything going on. The price per night was not reflective of the facilities at the time of my stay.
