Abberley House

Exceptionally clean

Absolutely nothing great stay

What I'm assuming to be one of the owners greeted me at the door and welcomed me in, the hotel was well set out and easy to navigate, i was shown to my room and informed breakfast would be served at 8am I was asked if I wanted a cooked breakfast (for a small fee) or just the continental style, I opted for the continental as I was meeting friends for brunch. The room itself was adequate for a solo traveller and would have been ok for a couple too. Small TV and tea/coffee making facilities and an ensuite bathroom made it worth the price. Would I stay again Yes I definitely would.

Unfortunately due being in a front facing room the road noise could be heard luckily I always take earplugs so this wasn't an issue once in bed, Room was fitted with a pull down blind which didn't fully cover the window so once closed street lighting lit the room and once the sun came up in the morning the room was illuminated again. The carpark in front of the hotel is very small (luckily I have a small car) and quite difficult to gain entry if other cars are already parked.

Everything

Great location for Carlisle and parking for 3 cars. Everything clean and tidy. Staff friendly.

Not for us on this occasion unfortunately.
