La Casa Verde Eco Guest House

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast was amazing, and the patio with the hammocks overlooking the river was so peaceful. A really peaceful, great place to stay to explore Bali’s.

It was a little difficult to find at first uso g Google Maps and was sometimes difficult to get Ubers from the location but the staff was able to get us taxis!

We had a wonderful stay at this eco guest house in Baños. The location is absolutely gorgeous, with amazing views, lots of space, and beautifully clean facilities. It is also very conveniently located - just about a 7-minute drive from the city centre, so you get the peaceful surroundings without being far from everything. The complimentary breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was absolutely superb, fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. Check-in and check-out were also very easy and smooth. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, but I want to give a very special thank you to the owner, who truly went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately, I became quite sick during our stay, and he was incredibly supportive and caring. He extended our check-out time at no extra charge, provided me with rehydration supplies to help me recover, and was always available to help. His English was excellent, which made communication so much easier during a difficult time. He also gave us lots of helpful recommendations for food and local services. It was this level of genuine care and hospitality that made our stay especially memorable. You can tell that the people here truly care about their guests. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. If you are visiting Baños, I would absolutely recommend staying here. Beautiful location, amazing views, wonderful breakfast, clean and spacious facilities, and, most importantly, genuinely kind and caring people. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again!

Very friendly staff! They are willing to help with anything. The breakfast was also wonderful! Great variety to choose from.

The guy who checked-in us was very nice and provided a bunch of information about what to do around Baños. He sent it all via WhatsApp with many details. The communal area wasn’t big but had a snooker and foosball table for kids which our kids loved. Breakfast was ok, with eggs and pancakes/tortillas. Overall environment was relaxed and chilled. They let guests park the car inside the property. Room was clean. The breakfast area can be used by guests to prepare meals.

The building is not well maintained. To access it you need to cross a patio that stinks. The smell to cat and dog pee and poo is strong. We love cats and dogs and have nothing against them around but it really turned us off that to access the reception you see dog poo on the patio and have to bear a terrible smell. It was disgusting. One of the taps in our shower was broken and the shower curtain is stained and doesn’t look clean. Overall we felt the maintenance was completely off. We wouldn’t return to this place.
