Dorrians Imperial Hotel

Close to food and drinks

They told us to hand in keys when going out at night, when we returned they had given our key to someone else fortunately they had not gone into our room

It was quiet and clean.

Nothing

Pleasant stay, right in the heart of Ballyshannon.

Breakfast service was terribly slow. As a single traveller, I felt I got missed. The staff were very busy, so maybe needed an extra body. No WiFi coverage in the room.

The hotel is located on Main Street in the middle of town, with bars and shops nearby. Car park spaces are at the back of the building. We had a lovely breakfast. The food in the bar was good and the staff were friendly. If your stay is for the Rory Gallagher festival, it is the perfect place; it is also perfect if you want a good base for travelling to see sights. The bedrooms and bathrooms are like going back in time, but they are kept clean and tidy.

To be honest, we only spent one night there. I had a problem figuring out how to turn on the bathroom light and turn off the extractor fan, as I am a light sleeper. The three switches took some time to figure out.
