Riverside Bed & Breakfast

Riverside is perfectly placed just yards from Iron Bridge, Eleanor & Sean were there to greet us & were very friendly. It was like meeting old Friends,, full of information of where to eat & places of interest around the Gorge,, our room was basic but exceptionally clean & comfortable, as was the on suite, with a large corner shower. Plenty of tea, coffee, crockery & clean kettle, the bed & pillows were very comfy, nice big screen tv too !! The breakfast was really tasty, locally produced products, served by Eleanor, who took time out to chat & and tell us their story. It's always good to have a room with a view, but ours took our breaths away !! Amazing,, I won't spoil the surprise, see attached,, Perfect for a few days in the quiet walkable town,, plus safe parking right in front of property,, They are a lovely couple who could not have been more friendly, will definitely recommend to friends and relatives,,, Cheers,,,

Only thing I could mention is the steeper than normal staircase to the bedrooms, but with a sturdy handrail, we are in our late years & and managed easily enough but it's worth mentioning,, Apart from that,, Everything was pretty damn perfect !!!!

The B&B was clean, the room comfortable and I slept like a log. The proprietors were very nice and the location on the riverbank was excellent

Breakfast - No cornflakes on requesting first breakfast the following morning. orange juice only offered. Full english was only 4 items - no mushrooms, hash browns offered. Poor 1 item of bacon sausage egg and tomatoes on the vine. A full english is at least 6 items No lounge room so if its raining stay in your bedroom.
