Suite no 7, hidden gem center of Amsterdam

The size of the room was large. The bed was comfortable. It was very clean and fresh. Julia was contactable and helped us with our bags on the stairs which are very steep. There are lots of nice restaurants/ cafes along the street. Just about 1km walk to the tram, one in Rembrandtplein and the other in Rokin. Tram 4 and 14 to centraal station. Easy Uber drop off/ pick up. Netflix and good wifi. Close to Dam square. Really liked the area and the room and Julia is wonderful.

There was no aircon and we had to ask for a fan, which wasn't in the room. More lighting in the middle of the room as its hard to see with just the lamps. Milk in the fridge would have been nice to make tea/coffee which was supplied. The stairs are very steep.

Very clean, spacious, great shower, very quiet Right across the street from the Metro Really liked having coffee and tea available in the room and a small refrigerator; and some dishes. Julia was very friendly with good advice of restaurants, things to do and see

We are fine with stairs (see them as good exercise!) but if you have mobility issues probably not the place for you since you go up a steep set then down to get to the suite. This is a plus, not a negative- Note the suite is on the first floor NOT in the basement. There is a double floor to ceiling French doors that open that is really nice . One suggestion would be to have Kleenex available in the suite.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. We took a 25-minute taxi from the airport. To give another traveler a sense of location and distance to museums: Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum (2 minute walk from each other) are a 10 minute slow walk from this apartment. Julia was a wonderful hostess, always there to answer our questions, either in person or via Whatsapp. She also assisted us with a choice of restaurants in the area. Ask her about a casual, but very good Thai restaurant and also more of a white-table-cloth restaurant for dinner called Watergang (5 minutes walk from this apartment). We travel a lot and I have to point out the excellent lay-out of this apartment. The walk-in shower is huge, with built-in shelves for all your toiletries. (Julia also provides toiletries.) I pesonally loved the luxurious hand soap:) The sink area has a long shelf, which is great, especially for all the ladies and our make-up bags. The bed was comfortable. Overall, a great, spacious room with additional coffee, tea and a little snack corner. We highly recommend this place. Thank you Julia for all your help!

We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place! 😊 The host was incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating, and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The room was cleaned every day and everything was always super clean and tidy. We also really appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks – such a lovely extra! The room itself is beautifully decorated and very cozy, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The location is amazing as well, right by one of Amsterdam’s beautiful canals and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Everything we needed was within easy reach. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and felt very well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️

The room was a little sound-sensitive, but it didn’t bother us much at all.
