A gorgeous building, full of old world Spanish character. It has a relaxing and beautiful courtyard and seating area with an honesty bar. Our room was lovely, a big bathroom, great shower, a little kitchenette area with a full size fridge, and we had a private terrace with our own little plunge pool. A very big, and very comfortable bed.
The breakfast basket was quite simple, there was nothing wrong with it but I would have loved something a bit more substantial even if it meant paying a bit more.

The hotel had lots of character with a lovely courtyard where you could enjoy the breakfast and have a drink. The breakfast 'picnic' delivered to the room is a lovely touch and the quality of the breakfast was good. The bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
The location of the hotel is quiet but only about 10-15 minutes walk from the main sites. Being able to tour the attached family Palace was also a nice addition.
Whilst our room had high ceilings and a large window with shutters it was a bit plain and would benefit from having some nice pictures on the walls to brighten it up.
Our room had an adjoining room (which was locked) but the light in that room was on all night every night so at night it shone under and around the door, but it didn't seem like it was occupied.

Lovely big room with huge bed; well appointed bathroom (no bath, just shower); kitchenette and roof terrace. Breakfast pre-ordered on arrival. Arrived in rustic hamper with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, yoghurt and fruit. Coffee and tea making faciltites in the room. Pretty, communal courtyard with plunge pool and bar. Perfect place to relax. Really helpful staff who sent us great info on our arrival and upon request throughout the stay.
The roof terrace was next to a neighbouring room's roof terrace. I didn't like it when they started smoking as it came straight over in to our space whilst we were eating breakfast. This only happened once and the rest of the time it was perfect. Quite a steep flight of floating stairs with no proper handrail to get to the roof terrace. A bit precarious when carrying things.
