One Shot Conde Torrejón

The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful although not a buffet style. The location was great - not in the busy part of the old town/tourist area but just a ten to fifteen minute walk away. It is close to an amazing square with lots of bars and restaurants which is very lively. Also lots of places to eat in the streets surrounding the hotel.

Our room was nice but there was hardly anywhere to store clothes. Just one narrow wardrobe with hanging for five hangers but this space was taken up with towelling robes. There was nowhere to hang the robes as the two hooks in the bathroom were needed to hang damp towels as there was no towel rail. We couldn't unpack as there were no drawes or shelves - just the base of the wardrobe and one small cupboard above the wardrobe which was too high for me and one narrow base of an alcove. There was nowhere to store our cases so it was difficult to keep the room organised. Bedside tables didnt have a drawer to put personal items in and there was no mirror above the desk/dressing table even though there were several mrrors in the room - they weren't in the right place.

Executive room was lovely, comfortable great linen comfortable bed and pillows

Bedroom wasn’t well designed , bed at an angle so difficult to get to wardrobe!

I liked the location and size of room.

-Breakfast was poor -Killed at least 4 cockroaches ( they even went into our suitcase) -Stayed 4 nights and no one cleaned our room, I took out the rubbish myself and asked for towels and toilet paper -Air conditioning wasn’t working properly, especially since it was 37 degrees -bought hop on- hop off tickets for a green sightseeing bus from the hotel but the instructions we were given on where to wait were wrong. We paid for a taxi to drop us to a particular location and stop but after waiting for 40 minutes in the heat we rang the bus company who told us the hotel gave us the wrong information.
