A special thank you to Florian who I feel went over and above to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely choose VIU Hotel for my next visit to Villars.
Breakfast was a little limited.

Staff was really great. Room was spacious and clean. Views from the terrace were spectacular. Location was great. Gym equipment and spa.
Breakfast- quite mediocre selection and quality for 4 star hotel. Scrambled eggs burnt and dry. Fruit salad not eatable.
Dinner at 1904 Horizon restaurant- overpriced. Especially vegetarian part. We got pot tofu with vegetables which was completely blunt and the portion quite small for the price. It was suggested by the hotel to book the dinner as many people usually show up, but this wasn’t the case.
Parking in the garage- it was clear to us there was a rate of 25 eur per night. While checking out we had an ask to keep the car there until 3 pm in order to enjoy the nature before heading home. It was told to us that no- apparently new guests were arriving. Even though the check-in is not until 3 pm. Ended up paying another 10 eur in the adjacent public parking for next 5 hours.

Poor selection for breakfast, bed tasting coffee, slow service in the restaurant, bed not comfortable, very cold water in the indoor pool
