Courtyard by Marriott Oxford South

Everything was fine. We stayed just one night and there were no problems - unlike some other hotels that we have used.

Menu, drinks etc were a little expensive.

Guy at check in was really attentive, when I got to the room its was spotless, spacious and quiet. The staff in the restaurant were very attentive without being over the top.

Ive tried to book for days over the next few months but the price is now double what I paid. Its a shame as I would have block booked

Lovely modern hotel. Great decor . Really friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant. The room was spacious, very comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent.

The bar and dining areas were good. Clean and appealing. Staff excellent. The breakfast was very good.

Our room was disappointing. The carpet in particular was disgusting. It was heavily stained all around the bed area. I tried to convince myself that it was tea/coffee spills but I'm really not sure about that. Even worse, at the end of the bed area there was a splattered stain on the carpet which we were certain was blood. I asked at reception if it could be cleaned but they said no. We ended up placing a stool over it so that we wouldn't accidentally walk on it. Unacceptable. The cupboard trim was peeling in the bathroom and the whole room felt neglected.
