Lovely spacious and very clean apartment with all essential requirements and more. A good location with Columbia Heights shopping area and Metro station nearby and 3 bars located around the corner from the apartment. The host was extremely helpful in providing additional details regarding the local area and detailed knowledge regarding the apartment .

The location was okay and it was easy to check-in.

It smelt like cat litter, it was musty/muggy in the apt., there was a huge rat outside the apt that passed right in front of entrance as we came in (scary), and overall it seemed like someone stunk up the place beforehand.

Everything was in there, nice and clean with great service.

Carlton was delightful. His personality alone made our stay most enjoyable. Our flights arrived early so he allowed us to drop off our luggage early so we didn’t miss our daughter’s college orientation. The house is around shopping & quaint neighborhood bars. The beds were uber comfortable. The house is centrally located to everything with rock creek park filled with everything to do. It was super safe.

There were only 4-things I’d like to see updated: • A bright light at the basement apartment’s front door. • A way to lock the back door • Furniture outback for guests to lounge in. •A larger tv (atleast 72 inch) in the livingroom with one remote

Excellent facilities, it was so much bigger than we expected. Very comfortable! The linen and towels were obviously fantastic quality so we enjoyed this and had fantastic sleep. The location was also exceptional, so close to shops and public transport making getting around town easy. Carlton was a fantastic host also. The central heating was generally very good and kept the living space warm. We really enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend staying here if it sounds right for you!!

You could hear the property above walking around (it wasn’t too loud or anything) and often we could hear little dog footsteps. It generally wasn’t a problem although it occasionally woke up one person in our party in the morning. One of the rooms was also a little cold at night, and needed an extra blanket as this room didn’t warm up as much as the others.
