We spent 10 weeks in this awesome home. This allowed us to spend precious time with our first grandchild, being available to help while not being too much on top of new parents. This home also allowed us to explore all corners of New York City as it is convenient to the subway. This was the perfect “base of operations.” Everything was conveniently located nearby and our Host was always wonderfully thoughtful and responsive. We had a few other couples (friends and relatives) come to visit us for short times during our stay and they all loved it. The home was spacious and perfect to make all of us very comfortable and we always felt COVID safe. We even hosted a few small get togethers and the kitchen was perfect for entertaining. This home is full of light and has lovely art. Everything we needed was provided, right down to a yoga mat and a blanket for a picnic when requested. The place is very quiet and had wonderful views of the Hell Gate bridge and trains in the distance. Truly Christina could not have done anything more to make us feel happy and glad to be here. We will always treasure memories of this home and this stay. It is the best! Thank you so much, Christina!

An Astoria gem and a rock star host
We spent 2 months in this beautifully remodeled, modern and fully equipped 2 bedroom home. The kitchen is filled with everything an aspiring chef would dream of, including an amazing induction stove, a Gaggenau oven and a sizeable fridge. All the rooms are spacious and fill with natural light. The master bedroom is large and the second bedroom is very good, all with super comfy beds and pillows. The bathrooms are newly remodeled.
With the warmer weather we were able to enjoy the BBQ and back patio as well as the front garden where you can sit in a swing chair and admire the view of the famous Hell’s Gate bridge while sipping your favorite wine.
Located in a fabulous spot in Astoria just a few blocks of Astoria restaurant heaven and the Astoria park and the East riverfront.
Walking distance to supermarkets, pharmacy, wine stores and any other first necessity shops, even Costco !

Stylish, Comfortable first floor of house
Owner Christina was a pleasure to work with, and her house reflects her warmth. The two-floor apartment is spacious, with three baths and two beautifully done bedrooms. The kitchen is extremely well supplied and well-designed. I prepared a full Christmas dinner with all the counter space and appliances needed.
The location is safe and easy walking distance to the Ditmars area amenities. The neighborhood is pleasant for walking around and very quiet. We never had any problems parking near the house, and quality food delivery choices were abundant, even during the pandemic.
We’ve stayed in several nice apts in Astoria, but this is our clear favorite!

While this was a great Queens location from which to explore all of NYC, and the accommodation was large enough for 2 couples to share, we were disappointed by the lack of communication from the owner, which resulted in us not being able to gain access to the unit, by the disruptive noise from upstairs (kids racing and jumping at 6am), and by the inadequate provisioning of the unit, which we rented for 10 days. This includes no hair dryer, inadequate toilet paper, lack of kitchen paper towels, no sealed soap, and inadequate basic kitchen provisions like black pepper, sweetener, sauces etc. Overall a decent experience.

We very much enjoyed our time in Astoria. Thank you to our ferry companions for the local dining recommendations. Easy MTA transportation to both Manhattan and the US Open. Would definitely stay at this property again!

My family and I absolutely loved staying in this wonderful home. Everything was so clean and comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals in, or there are many great restaurants within walking distance of the house. It is a wonderful and beautiful place to stay!
The owner Christina was extremely nice and helpful during the entire process of renting, checking in, and staying at her property. If we ever come back to NYC, we would definitely stay here again!

Great family home for NYC trip
The property is situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Queens which was very important to us with 3 children. It was about 10-15 min walk to the subway which took us directly to Manhattan and even coming back late at night felt very safe.
Christine was extremely accommodating for us after another property owner left us in the lurch with just 2 weeks before our departure but she did everything possible to adapt her schedule so we could stay at the property for our weeks trip to NY and made us feel very welcome and was able to help whenever we needed it.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property for its location, style and space and a very responsive and caring owner to go with it. Thanks Christine

Better than promised experience in a terrific location.
This spacious getaway was more than we expected when planning our short stay over New Years. The home was sparkling clean and had just about anything you could need to still feel at home while traveling. Everything was just as described and even had parking available in the street which was a plus. We were able to get into Manhattan in about 30 min by train which made things even more convenient.
Christina, the host, made us feel very welcome in her home and was always available to answer questions. She gave us a few referrals on restaurants in the area which turned out to be amazing.
We are definitely planning on returning here on our next visit to the area.

Perfect for family stay in NYC
We were a party of 8 with 4 children between ages of 10 and 12 staying at this property for a long weekend. The owner was extremely helpful and went beyond our expectations, even providing us with some delicious bagels and other snacks when we were concerned about food and a late arrival. The property itself is light, cozy warm, clean and very nicely decorated. The downstairs sofa was absolutely fine for a couple of the children to sleep and the rest of us had comfortable beds and bathrooms with plenty of nice towels and even toiletries. It is slightly out of the action which means a trip into Manhattan. On part of the weekend that we were there, the subway closed which made it less easy. However, there is a nice walk to the subway (made the mistake of doing this at night with luggage - should have taken a cab - there are plenty at the subway station) and also a really fun ferry which is a good walk but a nice one and we enjoyed it as part of sightseeing. The advantage of being out of Manhattan too is how quiet it is. I never expected that in NYC. The area is pleasant and safe-feeling and we had no problem getting an Uber when we needed a taxi. There is a handy corner shop at the end of the street for basics - it even had tonic and limes! I would highly recommend this property and send hearty thanks to Christine for her care and attention.

Quiet and spacious retreat
This was our first experience staying in someone’s primary residence. Christina was an excellent host. Her home is clean, spacious and a quiet retreat from the city. The location is close to restaurants, shopping and the subway. I would definitely stay here again, it was the perfect retreat for a girls weekend.

Super Comfy Triplex Astoria NY
We visited New York in early October for my kids Fall Break. We needed a space big enough for 2 families since it was a girlfriend trip with 2 female adults and our 5 children. This TH fit our needs perfectly. We needed to be near Citi-Field since we were going to a stadium concert there and we had to be close to a subway that had access to all the tourist sights which made travel with 5 kids super easy and convenient. We opted to Uber from JFK to the TH which was a great idea, traffic was atrocious, but it was under 50$ which we did both coming and going. The subway is close, maybe a 10-15 minute walk with kids in tow, but in my opinion, not close enough that I wanted to make multiple transfers and roll luggage down several street blocks to the place. The TH is in an interesting, quaint, and seemingly safe neighborhood with lots of people walking around everywhere and amenities within close proximity (CVS, Starbucks, Paris Baguette, Bare Burger, ethnic food, wine bars etc). The host, Christina, was very welcoming. The TH is gorgeous albeit a slightly confusing layout (at first) since it is a Tri-plex. There's a rental studio down below and a family living above, hence some little feet pitter patter, (we didn't mind) and the mid-section is the part we stayed in. The two bedrooms were very cozy but the queen room is only big enough for 2 people to sleep. Our teenage girls slept downstairs on the big couch. The master bedroom is much bigger and had a fantastically cozy king-sized bed and another comfy futon. The weather was humid and muggy at times so the fans/AC were useful. We did not prep meals very often as we were out and about but the kitchen was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped and so it was nice to come back to at the end of our day to kick up tired feet, have a drink and snack, and all hang out together....Overall our stay at this TH was a pleasant and comfortable experience, the décor is lovely and eco-friendly which is awesome, we are so glad we chose to stay here over a hotel. We loved New York, we only wish we had more time!!

Amazing place only a short ride to Manhattan
We loved our stay at Christina's place, it felt like home from the moment we walked in. Only a 5 min walk to the subway which took us straight into town. There is a great little bar at the end of the street and a little supermarket 2 mins walk away. The town centre is brilliant with many restaurants to suit all tastes and had a great village vibe. We were travelling with our kids and felt super safe even at night as there is young families all around. Christina was very prompt and helpful in her responses when we needed her. Overall would highly recommend you stay here.

Our Perfect Home Away From Home
Our family of four had such a great stay here that I'm not really sure where to begin. Upon arriving at the property, Christina's hospitability made us feel very welcome. Next, the tour of the house made us feel right at home. We quickly settled in and made use of the luxury appliances and furniture. Having all the necessities that we normally have at home made our summer in New York that much better. The location of the property is perfect to quickly get to all of the iconic New York landmarks and tourist locations, but also in a ideal spot to walk to many favorite restaurants of all the locals.
With the help of Christina, and this incredible five star home, our summer in New York was unforgettable.

Beyond perfect
Wonderful is an understatement! Christina has been one of the warmest hosts I’ve come across. The home is lovely and spotless. The location is beautiful, just what you need on a getaway, in addition to close proximity to the subway and grocery stores. Her recommendations in terms of restaurants and things to do in NY only made our trip more memorable. Christina has been a great source of help and I highly recommend her place. Thanks for everything!

Our stay at Duplex/Triplex in Astoria
My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous luxurious Duplex/Triplex in Astoria. It was better than any
5 star hotel. The furnishings are elegant, the natural sunlight and backyard are glorious. The beds are
super comfortable, the linens, towels, etc are first class. It is convenient to great local ethnic restaurants, an easy commute to Manhattan. We loved it. Can't wait to come back again.
