The rental home was lovely, in a pretty and quiet neighborhood with a beautiful back yard. Lots of coffee shops etc within walking distance. Driving distance (for us!) to the beaches, and bike rentals 👍 Unfortunately, the futon did not work for us; too hard and narrow, so we were short on bed space, since we planned to sleep 7 adults

We wanted a house near our family and this was perfect. The back yard was our favorite place for relaxing between social events. Only 7 minutes from kids and grandkids.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Brian’s home in Redondo Beach!! For starters: Brian was amazing! He met us at the property (with our 5 kids) and showed us around making us feel right at home. The home was absolutely beautiful!! Even more spacious than the online profile described! The beds were all extremely comfortable, and the home was spotless!! We were able to cook every meal at the home, with every cooking utensil you can imagine! I forgot my keurig- but Brian had a keurig and cups on site! If we didn’t have our 5 kids with us, my husband and I would have walked to the beach every day- but instead- we drove 5 short minutes- EVERY DAY- to enjoy the very quiet, ReDondo Beach. We will DEFINITELY be coming back every year (and hopefully more) to visit this lovely beach house! Thank you, Brian!!

Unfortunately we got in late and never got to meet but the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch and greatly appreciated! The house had plenty of room and allowed for everyone to be together or retreat to their own space for some down-time. Everything about the house, inside and out, was warm, comfortable and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to shopping, food and beaches and the neighborhood is charming and quiet. We loved our stay and hated to leave. Mahalo Nui Brian!

The house is beautiful, walking distance to the beach and to several restaurants. It was easy to get to. Brian gave us a tour when we arrived, there was a helpful guide conspicuously provided to let us know what to do. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Beautiful property, well maintained with a nice backyard for a BBQ and soak in the hot tub. It is a short walk down to Redondo Beach Riviera Village with easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach.

This house worked perfectly for our family. Brian was very helpful and easily available. The house is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with beach and amenities conveniently close by. The set up of the house is perfect: I enjoyed the huge downstairs bedroom and the privacy and access to outside it provided. The rest of the family slept very comfortably upstairs on the main floor. Among Brian's welcoming touches (such as coffee packets ready for us in the morning and a very well-equipped kitchen) was the invitation to use the piano. That and the comfortable sofas and great collection of books made the house feel like our own home. The large dining room table easily accommodated our family. We especially loved the spacious and beautiful outside with grass, trees, a patio area with a fire pit and hot tub. The set-up afforded great privacy from the neighboring houses. We certainly plan to rent this house again. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your lovely home, Brian.

This home is spacious & cozy & so beautifully decorated. The backyard is lovely - just a perfect place to relax. Close enough to the ocean for a lovely walk. Very nice neighborhood! Brian was very accessible when we had questions. Our family had a great time here!

A great home away from home! We loved the place so much we wished we could have stayed longer. Close to everything: Ralph's for groceries is less than a mile. Redondo Beach Pier where we had some crabs and shrimps, etc. is a few minutes drive. Overall, a super Southern California vacation..

Had a reunion of old friends. Place was lovely. Near restaurants, stores, and the beach. Lovely inside, and the backyard was great to hang outside. A 5 star experience.

Brian was a real nice person to deal with. We has a fun time in his home. No body will be disappointed with this property.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was great, he showed us around and explained everything to us. The location is excellent, the house was perfect for our needs. We would recommend it and would definitely return.

We just spent a week in this beautiful home—it is our third time renting it for a week in July, and we hope to stay here again next summer. Vacations are great for “getting away from it all”, but at the end of the day, we still want to come “home” to relax. And this is the perfect place to do that. No freezing AC when you walk in, no hotel rug deodorizer smell, no hotel guests opening and closing doors all night. There’s AC if you want it, but the neighborhood it so safe and quiet that you can open a window and turn on the ceiling fan. There’s no carpet smell due to the wooden floors, and the cleanliness of the house. And the house is located in a quiet neighborhood, where the only sounds we heard were an occasional bark or a car driving by. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Keurig coffee maker, so we had breakfast in most days. The area is full of great restaurants to try, so when we weren’t eating out, we were usually heating up leftovers at home and maybe throwing a salad together to go with them. The kitchen has everything you need. One night we grilled steaks in the backyard using their gas grill—it worked great. Another night we picked up boiled crabs from the pier and ate them on the patio table in the backyard. There are lights in the trees—it’s a great place to unwind. There’s also a hot tub out there. Inside, there are 3 large screen TVs, a piano and a keyboard to keep you entertained. There’s also WiFi throughout the house. There’s also free parking . El Retiro Park is within walking distance , and has a large shaded play area with jungle gyms for kids to play on and a few tennis courts. There’s also a public library on site. We love staying at this property—the owners are accessible and have always been very helpful when advice has been sought. When you consider the price of a hotel room, eating out, and parking fees, you realize that staying here is a much better value.

Four children and four adults, one week. AWESOME! The property is VERY nice (nicely laid out, well decorated, great neighborhood, centrally located so easy access to all parts of LA County). For fun, walk around the block and see the neighborhood developer's home, now listed for $14.9m (including furnishings and history, 6700 sf, and iconic, so obviously a great deal). The beach and "Villages" are easy walking distance; this beach is very family friendly. Handel's Ice Cream is also an easy walk (what's not to like?!). Would I stay here again? Absolutely! In addition, I would recommend it to friends. Brian was an excellent host, who met us at the property to take us through it and politely discuss the "rules." BTW...the piano and drum was a great touch (plus an electric piano has been added). Musicians will love this property!
