Die beste Eigenschaft des Hauses ist der beheizte Pool und Cabana. Es gibt Platz an Deck rund um den Pool, die zum Sonnen ist groß. Es ist ein Propan Grill für das Kochen im Freien. Der Pool cabana ist mit einem Sofa und Sessel bedeckt .... Dies ist der perfekte Ort für einen Cocktail am Nachmittag oder Nickerchen!

We just returned home from a lovely stay at Chick-a-pea cottage and would highly recommend. We are often visitors to Key West and this was a great cottage for many reasons. The location is fantastic is being located right off of Duval, but is still exceptionally quiet. You haven't been to KW, this cottage is on the more quiet end of Duval (close to the Southernmost end). There were five of us staying in the cottage and it was incredibly comfortable for a group that size. 6 would be great as well. The small bedroom off the kitchen is bijou, but adorable. Probably best for anyone who is an early riser (or a heavy sleeper) as it opens onto the kitchen.The combined living room and dining area are well appointed and comfortable. The decor overall in the entire cottage is tasteful, adorable and "beachy" without being over the top.My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was SO comfortable. If you like plush and soft beds, you'll love this one. I find rentals sometimes skimp on beds and was pleasantly surprised to find a mattress that I really liked! Kudos to the owners. We were traveling with my mom and my husband's mom as well as one of my best friends. They all reported their beds were a tad hard but overall okay.The outside area has a wonderful cabana where we spent most mornings with coffee and evenings after dinner chatting. The pool was perfect and appreciated having four lounge chairs.The parking area and walk up to the deck of the cottage is gravel. Just something to be aware of with suitcases and if you have anyone older and more unsure on their feet.The Historic Key West Vacation Rentals property management team were excellent! We had an issue with the wifi and they were incredibly attentive and quick to respond. It didn't get resolved while we were there, but no fault of the management company or the owner.Would highly recommend this cottage and we'll definitely keep it on o

Lovely house in terrific location just off Duval St. Clean, quiet, loved having the “dipping pool” and outdoor poolside seating. Great communication and helpful info from management company, HKWR. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay here. The location is within walking distance to a lot on and off Duval or a quick Uber to other parts of Old Town. I really have nothing negative to say, staff was super friendly, they were able to store our bags for us coming and going. Great experience, I highly recommend.

We were in the Keys for a 40th birthday celebration. We had 8 people with us and we felt very comfortable and spread out at the house. The pool and outside area is small, but great for spending outside as a group. You are less then 1 building down from Duval and a few short blocks from the Butterfly Conservatory and Southernmost Point. The management company was incredibly informative and helpful before and during our stay. I would love to stay at another property that they manage in the future. The only cons that I had at the location is the use of physical keys (I prefer a key pad) and the very low pressure in the downstairs shower.

Our family loved staying at this home, steps from Duval St. The home was immaculate when we arrived. Ana and Susan were super responsive to all questions and offered lots of information. Loved the pool and cabana area, we were in it every day as it was very hot. Great location, great home and pool, great hosts! Highly recommend.

It’s within walking distance of so many sights, shops and restaurants…although we found it was hard to ever leave because our kids wanted to stay and enjoy the house and pool! Couldn’t have loved it more. Made our first visit to the Keys so much fun to have this lovely cottage as our home base!

We rented Chick-A-Pea cottage for our son's destination wedding. The location was fantastic, the check in process was first class and the cottage itself was amazing. All 7 of us adults raved over the great amenities, especially the pool and cabana. Wonderful wedding in Key West made more special by staying here and the hosts of Historic Key West Vacation Rentals were the best. Thanks Cindy and especially Susan for the amazing experience. This has been our favorite location we have ever stayed in Key West. It was glorious to be so close to all our favorite spots in Key West, walking distance to most everything, yet this home was surprisingly quiet, just a block off Duval. The home is laid out perfectly for a family. Super smooth and easy check in and check out - communication with manager was prompt and thorough. The only complaints: Master bed was way to soft for 40-50yr old backs, we woke up in pain every morning :(. For the money we spent on renting this adorable home, a proper kitchen sponge (rather than a 50cent one from dollar store), and some kind of welcoming gift basket with coffee and snacks would have thrown this rental over the top for us.

Property managers did a great job staying in contact with us. Only thing I would change is the check in (check out) process. It would be nice to have someone meet you at property and leave the keys at departure at the property. Other than that, we had a great time.

This four bedroom rental worked for our family of five plus two grandparents. A bit on the small side but it was clean, had two and a half baths and the outdoor patio and small pool was a bonus. Short walk to Southernmost point and the north shoreline as well. Bike, mopeds and cart rental right around the corner. When we had questions or needs, people were responsive immediately and follow it up with us to make sure things were okay. The location off of Duval street brought nightlife right to us but with fans provided in the house, when we were ready for bed, we didn't hear much of what was going on outside the house. The only negative we experienced was roosters in the morning and a finding people laying on the sidewalk a few times in the morning --- both were harmless and we found and heard about all over near Duval street and key west.Things to ask and/or bring: there were no dish towels or dish wash cloths. There were two fans provided. Need to bring two more if you want to have one for each room.

This property was perfect for 4 friends wanting a 5 day getaway to Key West. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths met our needs. The living area was comfortable and the pool and outdoor area was perfect for an afternoon dip and and late night glass of wine. One bedroom is off the kitchen and very small with room for a twin bed and nightstand. The other three would work for individuals or couples. The location was around the corner and literally steps from Duvall Street. It is on the "quiet end" of Duvall which was perfect! It was an easy walk from any place we wanted to go. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again. I recommend this location wholeheartedly!

The downside was the person next door apparently went to an auction and bought 5 used police cars and parked 2 in front of the front porch which I pointed out to management and they remained during our stay.

The cutest little cottage right off duval street. Stayed with a group of 6 girls and it was perfect. Cute little pool and outdoor area to hang out at the end of the day, clean accommodations and the property management was excellent with communication and offering to help plan our trip. Loved it!

Little Gem
We rented this house with family last week and I have to say that the house is adorable! It has all the Key West character in a home that your looking for. The home is immaculate and they literally thought of every single thing you need. All you have to do is bring your toothbrush. Cindy and the staff members in the office were so friendly and accommodating. This experience made lifetime memories with my family and I am so grateful! Thank you! We will be back!

We had a fantastic time at Chick a Pea Cottage. The house was exactly as advertised, well appointed, immaculate, a great size for six women on a girls’ week and the perfect location for us...just off Duval and towards the quieter end. We could easily get where we needed, were around the corner from our favorite bar and didn’t hear all the night noise. We did have an issue with the swimming pool so Danny and Irene went out of their way to make things right. Wade also made sure we were happy. They truly were accommodating and cared about our stay. I can’t say enough about the superior level of customer service we received.If you plan to rent while in Key West, use Historic Key West Vacation Rentals. Can’t wait to go back!
