We loved the history of ‘The Monkey Tower’. Room was great and was a good location for everything.

The locking system. Took me ages to work it out and wasn’t easy with all my bags etc to open doors. Make sure you have free hands to scan with your phone and turn the handle at the same time. Also scan your phone on the front door.

Great location near piazza novana! beautiful room with a mini fridge, great shower, and very helpful staff. I was allowed to leave my luggage in Monti on arrival as I got to Rome in the morning then when I returned the reception rang me a taxi and gave me tips about the area.

The key codes didn’t work for the doors. We used the same system in Venice and never had a problem, but here, we could never get in. The reception was only a phone call away and they always answered and helped us get in though. This was the only problem we had during our stay.

It was so clean, smell so fresh and the staff was so helpful , location was great as well

decent space for the price

The water pressure and there was no gathering place for my party. Also the babies room was right over the street with the restaurant right beneath the window. Loud all night.

Great location. Close to Panteon and river side. Big room with many windows so we enjoyed the day light a lot. Room decoration was ok furnitures etc. Big enough kitchen space if you have a small baby especially. Microwave, kettle, fridge, cooker, coffee machine all working good. Looking at and beautiful old Rome apartment across the window. I would say very comfortable inside. Building is classy big opening and proper italyan courtyard with trees etc.

Very late check in 4pm. and early check out 10am Floor was dirty and they forgot the slippers so we had to wait until midnight to have the slippers. So I walk around the room with my socks on my wife refuse to do but I gave it a go. I was thinking to attached the pictures of my socks here to let your see my socks after I walk around in the room for 5 min but I don't want you to vomit to your laptop screen. Anyway try not to drop anything on the floor if you dont want to get HIV or smth If you willing to cook in the room need to bring your own kitchenware what we found in the room was unusable.

Good location, flat nicely renovated. Good communication from helpful owners.

Locks on doors had to be opened by (smart) phone, it was not the easiest building to get in to. Couldn't access property until 4pm, so had to leave bags at owners other property about 25 mins walk away.

Great location, very nice and clean room with great view, nice and super friendly staff. There was a small misunderstanding with the room we booked, but it was fixed.

Nothing, unlike other people who mentioned that it was complicated to get in to apartment we had no problem whatsoever. Once you receive the instructions they are quite straightforward.

Close to all the sights 15- 30 minutes. Close to spagna metro. Nice big bed, clean, quiet opposite a beautiful church and around the corner to the best gelato shop Giolitti VIA DEL VICARIO.

There was no one to greet us on arrival, no where on site to leave r bags as we arrived early. The code to enter the room and leave was a nuisance. No drinking glass in the room in sharp contrast to when we arrived in Venice are drinking glass was left chilling in the fridge with bottled water. but the worst thing was the shower it was just a dribble really . It's a shame because the decor was modern,the juliet balcony beautifully framed the historic street below, but the shower for me just let it down.

The apartment was beautiful and located in the city center, near the Pantheon. The view was amazing and everything was newly renovated and very clean.

Most customer-unfriendly digital check in system I have ever encountered. Took us 20 minutes to get into the apartment and the staff, despite their willingness to help, could barely be of any help. I was told I would receive information with instructions about how to get into the apartment. On the chat of Booking.com I received a screenshot with log-in codes, so I assumed that was the information I needed. We couldn’t even get past the front door with that information. I called the reception and only after 20 minutes of vague instructions and answering the question “where are you?” at least 7 times, I was told to check my spam emailbox, because apparently an email had been sent to me. That email included the information I needed. It was kinda cryptic and unclear but once you get it, it’s not a problem anymore.

The locatin is awsome and the appartment was very beautiful. Just we could not to lock the appartment door.

The first big issue was the access to the building. We had no instructions apart from the address, we got into the building after someone was leaving, and we had to ask around residents were the apartment was. Also the doors needed to be unlocked by codes wirh wifi and internet. We had to call 3 times to figure out how to open and close the door. Very frustrating after arriving after a 9 hour flight. The shower head was broken, and we had to call 2 times before someone came and fixed it. So for 3 days out of 5 we had no proper shower access. The other issue we had was no one came to clean the room until day 4, we had to reuse the same towels and face cloths the whole trip. The room has so much potential to be good. But I dont think I could recommend, mostly being the access into the building. Not everyone travels with international roaming, and a key pr swipe card would make things so much easier!

The locks were a bit confusing to start with.

The location was good.

The bed didn’t have the right size sheets on them. The shower had no pressure. The wifi was cutting in and out. The system to get in and out of the room/building was just stupid. There is no balcony

staff were very responsive and helpful, allowed us to drop bags at another hotel as we arrived earlier than check in and they drove our bags to the location for us. very clean and spacious.

the digital lock for the doors can be a bit tricky to figure out at first, could use a bit more instructions and I think they actually have the clockwise handle turning opposite in the instructions haha but once you finally figure it out it’s simple !

Amazing location as we walked to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Vatican … perfect! The lift was sufficiently quick and the room beautiful with 2 French doors with views directly down the streets. Quiet at night for a good sleep; large, comfortable bed, with espresso maker in the room. Modern and beautifully renovated. Highly recommended.

We weren’t familiar with the door handle key lock pad system so it took quite awhile to figure it out.

Very close to all the main attractions. Place is comfortable and spacious. Make sure you have internet connection because you'll need it to open the building door. There are restaurants right below the place. They get noisy sometimes at night.

The location is excellent and the room was very nice. The property is good value for money.

Each part of the property (ie the building door, the apartment door, your room door) are accessed using electronic locks which you access from your phone and unlock over the internet. This was very difficult to figure out and felt like an intelligence test after a long haul flight. The money would be better invested in a staff member.
