Very stylish in a cool shabby chic way.Loved the claw foot baths in each bedroom.Great roof top terrace.Cute house tortoise who was a hit with the kids.Very well placed.And exceptional value for money.

Not a huge amount of hot water for 2 baths.Lack of bath plugs!

Excellent property and facilities with a great and convenient location. Spacious and relaxing terrace with amazing views of the city. Thank you very much to Abdou who was very welcoming and always very friendly, professional and extremely helpful and accomodating, even allowed us to check out late. Would definitely recommend others to visit and hopefully very soon we will have the opportunity to come back and stay again.

Location, look (really beautiful and authentic moroccan riad), prise/value, communication with host (always available, they also booked a taxi from the airport for us, also checked us on our arrival if everything is good), toilet for each room, hot water. All the house is just for you, including the amazing rooftop. Overall, we were very satisfied.

No towels, bathtubs need to be refreshed a bit. Mattress on second floor is a little bit worn out on the left side, but still ok. Some of the electric sockets don't work. You can hear everything happening on the street or in neighborhood houses, though this can be counted as part of the authentic experience.

The location is spot on. Just a couple of minutes away from the busy El-Fnaa square, but in the heart of the Medina. Everything you need on your own doorstep. Even a spotlight to lit the outside of the door at night. I did bring a torch, but no need for it. The roof top is absolutely fabulous. Sun or shade, what you like. Contact with the host via Whatsapp was very smooth and fast in fluent English. Was picked up by Abdo from Café de France at El-Fnaa square and brought to Dar Lalla. I met the lovey housekeeper Hayat, got the keys, the WiFi-password and was asked to pay the city tax in cash in MAD (Booking.com did not take that from my credit card, as stated before hand). Also a picture of my passport was made for the administration.

Nothing not to like. That property is brill! Just to keep in mind: as the buildings in the Medina contain a patio, the living room is in direct connection with the outdoors. So an insect can come in. As is expected, certainly in the Medina. The living room does have doors that can be shut, in case of cold or rain. As do the sleeping rooms. They are closed since they outdoors. The shower is in the bath tub. The tub has no plug. And you have to hold the shower head yourself. No problem, as there is plenty of hot water. The building adjacent was under construction. In the 5 days I stayed three men worked (manually, no machines) from 8.30-16.30.
