Location was incredible and the balcony was amazing
Check in was a bit confusing. Received a request for information with a link prior to arrival. We didn’t feel super comfortable providing our info like that.

The apartment and location are superb
Unfortunately we had two morning wake ups at 5.45 am with streetsweeping and truck deliveries to the deli downstairs - not sure this reflects the the normal situation

Great location. Lovely seaside feel with glorious outlook and rustic yet very comfortable interior. Plenty of room, multiple sitting areas including a lovely deck. Good kitchen, and well provisioned. Quiet despite being in a commercial area. Reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. Walking distance to everything.
Very onerous check in! We were required to provide our credentials, I.e. a photo id and a photo of the primary guest, as well as other information already provided when we booked. Check in instructions not clear regarding parking. Numerous automated emails pre our stay of little value. When we attempted to contact the host with an issue we had no response for two days despite trying two separate methods. On the third method on the last day we finally made contact after which they were very responsive. Apparently they'd had technical issues with emails. This was a frustrating situation for us and businesses need to be on top of communications with their clients.

The view was amazing. The apartment was wonderful. The location was excellent.
The tv mode did not work, only Netflix. The apartment could do with a fan or air conditioner. The dining room sliding window needs to be able to be locked.

it was the middle of summer and as perfect as the apartment was a fan or two would have made the nights a little more tolerable

The flat is very spacious and has a great location and view. It is very pleasant to have a dishwasher and a washing machine with dryer. Dishwasher and laundry detergent were available in the flat, which was very pleasant. Everything was very clean.
The only disadvantage of this flat is that it is very noisy. Until late in the evening you have the noise of the neighbouring restaurant and the staff who live directly behind the restaurant. At 6 a.m. the staff of the shop, which is located below the flat, start preparing the food. It is best to use earplugs.

From the moment we arrived it was clear to see we’d chosen well. Everything was charming and comfortable and you could almost touch the view.

We liked the whole trip, the apartment was just to our taste and needs, and very relaxing and comfortable, furnished beautifully. Location was spot on.

The view was outstanding, the location was great - right on the waterfront, close to cafes, restaurants, walks and the local cinema, etc. Also there were multiple rooms, plenty of windows and doors to open up when it got warm, and great wifi too.
One minor point (not a big problem): At night we noticed a humming noise below the back bedroom, presumably the fridge of something similar in the cafe below. Not disturbing but certainly noticeable at times. The front room was much quieter despite facing onto the street.

Location & views great as was the condition of the apartment. It was just unfortunate for us (nothing to do with the apartment) but there were some boys racers that were doing burn outs during the night. The whole of Akaroa would have heard them.

Well located in central hub with easy access to cafes, restaurants and activities. Great harbour views. Beautifully appointed apartment.
Could be a little noisy in the morning - with cafe below and one morning had the council street sweepers using leaf blowers starting at 6am (!) but I suppose that is the trade off for the central location.

Location was amazing, right on the shorefront. The space inside was really good and super comfortable. Also the quality of the tv and ability to use apps. Kitchen facilities were nice as well.
Only downside was noise from the café below at 6am.

Where to start?…such a beautiful place to stay….very clean, spacious, very stylish decor, extremely comfortable beds with exquisite linen, every little detail thought of…and then the incredible view across the harbour & hills! Already planning our return!

The house is a very cute and comfy little home with a great view of the waterfront. We loved the layout and how tidy everything was. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge a comfy spot to sit and read your book. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was a generous size
There was one main heater in the house and a small one in the bedroom which was definitely helpful but an extra heater would have been great due to the very cold weather we experienced.
