The cosy atmosphere in the pub/ restaurant. The smiley & helpful staff.
The food - both dinner and breakfast were great.
The room was ok but could do with a refresh as it felt quite tired. Although the bedding and towels were really clean. Inside the wardrobe and drawers were dusty and in need of a good clean.

Staff were all really positive, jolly and helpful. Food was excellent and very reasonable, especially given the portions. The black pudding at breakfast and the stuffing with the pork at lunch were a cut above the normal and all the food was very well cooked and presented.
The room was very slightly tired but still excellent for the price.
